- Shared investigations, assignments, discussions, reports and multi-question feedback campaigns.
0.8.1 · 25 September 2026Help where you work.
Bundled plugin help, clearer image privacy guidance and per-site uninstall preferences.
Plugin · 0.8.0 · 25 September 2026More of the page. More useful clues.
Free keeps useful replay and every privacy control. Pro adds ways to investigate what visitors do across your website.
- Both editions have no monthly recording quota and share configurable retention and storage controls. Existing settings stay in place.
- Replay adds fit-width, fit-window, zoom and fullscreen where supported, plus clearer event navigation.
- Optional owner-approved public images restore visual context. Image capture starts off; private regions remain excluded and unapproved media stays blocked.
- Pro Clues links repeated and possible unresponsive clicks to the recorded moment. Review states help your team follow up.
- Structural form timing, ordered journeys and before/after comparisons include observation limits and sample counts.
- Optional rating or fixed-choice feedback stays on your WordPress server and is deleted with its linked recording.
- Pro update delivery rechecks licence changes and clears stale update notices.
Update Free first, then matching Pro, clear page caches and renew positive replay consent. Existing recordings and configured legacy services remain. No general replay AI or browser console/network capture is added.
Follow the upgrade stepsPlugin · 0.7.0 · 25 September 2026From replay to a clearer investigation.
Introduced Pro Clues, structural form timing, custom journeys, date comparisons and optional local visitor feedback. Replay gained fit and zoom controls, timeline navigation and proportional excluded-media placeholders. Existing recordings, privacy controls and optional legacy settings were preserved.
Plugin · 0.6.11 · 25 September 2026A useful Free core. A separate Pro add-on.
Removed monthly recording quotas and made storage and retention controls available equally in both editions. Pro analysis and collaboration moved into the separate add-on. Site-scoped consent and recording authorization strengthened isolation between WordPress installations.
Plugin · 0.6.10 preview · 23 September 2026A clearer focus on your visitors.
Recordings and page analysis lead the ClickClue workspace. Free stays useful; Pro adds more ways to investigate and review together.
- The dashboard opens on Recordings. Pro page analysis is named Heatmaps & forms, with checkout tools preserved in a clearly labelled Legacy checkout area.
- First-visit guidance helps you record one public-page task, check masking, bookmark the recording and leave a useful note.
- Setup explains the paused recording state, 10% sampling, seven-day retention and 250 MiB starting budget. Existing settings and all Free/Pro limits stay unchanged.
- Pro update delivery now supports ClickClue’s own short-lived download links, verifies the package checksum and refuses redirects. A confirmed local licence reset helps recover from key rotation or a copied site without claiming to release a remote activation.
- Existing recordings, notes, consent settings, checkout data and configured legacy services remain in place.
Pro remains a preview. Paid plans are not available yet; the installed Pro preview continues to work without a licence key.
Follow the 0.6.10 upgrade stepsWebsite update · 23 September 2026One Pro feature set. Annual plans for your sites.
- Annual launch bundles cover 1, 5 or 25 sites at the existing proposed prices. One-time offers are closed for new purchases, including old links and direct checkout requests.
- Previously agreed one-time entitlements keep their terms. Existing customers retain access to their purchase records.
- Pro benefits, downloads and setup guides explain the shipped features and actual defaults. Preview transition terms preserve installed use without automatic subscription.
- Legacy checkout email and AI are distinguished from ClickClue’s visitor-analysis features and the separate Frictions roadmap.
Paid plans are not available yet. You can continue using the Free plugin and Pro preview.
Plugin · 0.6.9 preview · 22 September 2026More reliable return visits.
Free and Pro 0.6.9 include the security and reliability fixes from 0.6.8, plus a correction for returning to a page with the browser’s Back button.
- A recording can resume when you return while its earlier start request is still pending.
- The old session is deleted before a replacement starts. Capture stays off while the page is hidden or deletion is unresolved.
- Existing 0.6.8 consent choices stay valid. Updates from earlier releases may require a fresh positive choice.
Update Free first, then Pro, and clear page/CDN caches. Your recordings, settings, notes and bookmarks remain attached to the same installation.
Follow the 0.6.9 upgrade stepsPlugin · 0.6.8 preview · 22 September 2026Stronger privacy boundaries. Smoother recovery.
- Private regions and masked shadow content stay protected as the page changes; Pro heatmaps respect the same exclusions.
- Recording startup, uploads and existing WooCommerce callbacks recheck capture permission when settings change.
- Background digests preserve removed credentials and opt-outs. Settings saves and key removal are protected against overlapping actions.
- Temporary database failures return retryable errors instead of replacing recordings or reporting an exhausted quota.
- Shared replays recover from failed loads and recheck access after returning to the page.
- Saved filters preserve text correctly and remain separate across sites. Note authors and administrators can delete individual notes.
Before enabling recording for visitors, check capture, masking and playback on a staging copy using your production database, theme, consent setup and extensions.
These fixes keep ClickClue’s focus on replay, clicks, heatmaps and review. Existing checkout integrations remain available while Frictions is developed separately.

- Expanded privacy, storage and contact pages explain data handling and where to get help.
