WEBSITE REVIEW PILOT
Time your next investigation.
Test whether ClickClue helps your team review visitor interactions. Compare matched tasks with your usual workflow. Your measurements stay in this browser.
Time one review.
Try this task: find the moment someone repeatedly clicks a page element, then write down what happened next.
Website results stay in page memory unless you allow optional saving (new tab). Export before leaving if saving is off.

How to run a fair comparison
A fair comparison, before a claim.
- Recruit consenting website owners and developers. Use a staging website with synthetic visits and prepared navigation, content or form-review tasks.
- Prepare matched tasks of similar difficulty: identify the relevant evidence, describe the observed problem and propose a valid next check. The facilitator keeps the expected answer.
- For half the participants, test their usual workflow first; for the other half, start with ClickClue. Use a different matched example for the second method to reduce learning effects.
- Use the same participant code and pair code for the two methods. Start the timer when the task is revealed. Stop at the answer; the facilitator verifies it before choosing the result.
- Record incomplete tasks and flag distractions or setup interruptions. Do not discard slow results. Export CSV after each study session.
Compare completion and time across similar tasks. Keep incomplete tasks and interruptions visible so the comparison is useful.
Small samples are descriptive. Faster investigation alone does not establish a sales improvement.
Use it alongside WordPress
An earlier version of this timer is available in the Pro plugin’s Legacy checkout → Legacy checkout investigation pilot section, with checkout-specific tasks. This website version offers navigation, content, form and replay tasks. Website results stay in this tab unless you enable optional browser saving. Export before leaving the page if saving is off, or before clearing browser data or switching devices. Use Flag interruption for distractions; switching tabs to investigate is expected.
