Privacy, in plain language.
How this website handles information, and how that differs from recordings on your own WordPress site.
Who is responsible?
A.M.E.X. Internet Marketing ltd, Makariou III, No.9, Larnaca, 7530, Cyprus operates ClickClue. Contact support@clickclue.com about this website or your account. Company details.
When you use this website
We do not run visitor analytics, advertising trackers or visitor session recording on these public pages. The interactive demo uses a sample page in your current tab; its recording is not uploaded. Tutorial and practice-review progress stays in page memory unless you choose to save it locally in Cookies & storage.
Hosting and security providers receive ordinary connection information such as your IP address, requested address, browser information and request time to deliver and protect the website. This is separate from the sample demo.
Accounts and licensing
Account services store your email address, a password hash, verification details, sessions, security events and any linked purchases. We use this information to provide access, protect accounts and answer requests. Account emails use our mail server on the GoDaddy VPS and its outbound email relay. We never send your readable password, licence key or plugin ZIP in an email.
When you explicitly activate a Pro licence, the plugin contacts ClickClue with the licence, site address and installation identifiers. Validation and update requests maintain that connection. Replay payloads are not part of licensing. Pro purchasing is currently closed.
Support
If you create a ticket, we store its topic, subject, messages, email and optional name, replies, history and staff notes to handle your request. New support requests require your email address to identify the request and find related orders; your name is optional. Older tickets may not contain an email address. Providing an email address does not verify purchase ownership or subscribe you to marketing. Keep your private ticket link: it grants access to the conversation. Ticket replies appear there; website tickets use the private conversation; direct email correspondence uses support@clickclue.com. Our support team uses OpenAI to assess spam and prepare replies from the conversation. Staff review replies before sending. Do not include passwords, payment details or visitor recordings. Support privacy details.
Recordings on a separate WordPress site
The website owner controls recordings made by their installed ClickClue plugin. They are stored in that website’s WordPress database. Contact that owner about consent, access or deletion; installing Free does not send those replays to ClickClue.
New installs start paused. Recording requires consent. Typed values are masked; page text is masked and images are excluded by default. Owners can approve bounded collections of public images and configure exclusions, sampling, retention and storage. The default retention is seven days. Masking reduces collection but does not replace careful page selection and privacy review.
Optional Pro feedback and report schedules are controlled by the website owner. Scheduled review emails use that website’s WordPress mail service. Separately configured legacy checkout integrations have their own data flows, described in the optional services guide. General visitor replays are not sent for AI analysis by this website.
Hosting, delivery and email
The website and application databases are hosted on a GoDaddy VPS in the United States. Cloudflare provides website delivery and security. GoDaddy hosts our mail server and relays support and transactional account email. These services can process information outside Cyprus and the European Economic Area.
Encrypted recovery copies are also kept on the operator’s protected computer. Backups can retain earlier information after it has been removed from the running service. We do not publish customer records or recovery archives.
Provider contracts, transfer arrangements and the full retention schedule are still being reviewed. We do not claim that this notice establishes completed legal compliance. Contact us for the current details before submitting sensitive information.
How long information is kept
We retain account and support information for access, unresolved requests, security and applicable recordkeeping needs. Closing a ticket does not delete it. A single fixed retention period has not been established for all support records, mailbox copies and backups.
Account access links expire; a setup link lasts up to two hours and a password-reset link up to 30 minutes. Expired links cannot be used even if their record remains. Cookie durations are listed in Cookies & storage.
Your choices and requests
Optional local saving is off until you choose it, and you can clear it without losing access to the site. Contact support@clickclue.com to request access, correction or deletion, or raise an objection about your information. We may need proportionate information to verify a request. Some records may need to be retained for legal obligations or unresolved disputes; we will explain that where it applies.
You can also raise a concern with your local data-protection authority. For a recording collected on another website, contact that site’s operator.
